How do you apply for assistance or a subsidy?
We know what it is like to fight cancer. The first to get hit are your finances. Even with a good medical plan and insurance, you can still get down to your last dollar very quickly.
While it may seem like a detour from your fight against cancer to meet up with friends for dinner, take your kids out for ice cream, or buy a wig or new clothes, these small actions are crucial you regaining a sense of normalcy. These funds are meant to provide some fun and light when you are in a dark place. Important Legal Information
Once verified and entered into the system, the application is considered eligible for funding. Decisions regarding the availability of funds will be made in the month following the verification of the application. Funds, if available, will be sent out by the end of the month in question. While the application remains valid for six months after verification, funding is always dependent upon the availability of donations. Persons who receive funds in one month are cycled to the end of the line in the month thereafter in order to allow the maximum number of people to benefit from the program. Funds are never guaranteed and should not be relied upon until received in hand.
Open to legal residents of the US and its territories and possessions. Must have a valid taxpayer identification and a US bank account. Verification of Identity and Taxpayer status is a condition of receiving funds. The funds may be used for any purpose allowed under Connecticut state law.
